I photographed a groundbreaking ceremony at a homeless shelter that is being lovingly updated in Sacramento. Despite the critical mass of dignitaries, a US Congresswoman, a State Assemblyman, two County Supervisors, it was a fun, loose event. Just kids playing in the dirt!_MG_6093

My friend Jerry Troy died of cancer a few months ago. His daughter, Shayna, asked if I would photograph the memorial service that she had arranged. I agreed immediately. Jerry was a great friend and real character. He loved everyone and they loved him back. I’ll miss him. ┬áHere are a few photos from the service.

New Old Polaroid

I found an expired box of Polaroid in a camera case yesterday and loaded the polaroid back for the Hasselblad and shot a couple of frames of my son Ben. I copied them with a Canon 5D and a macro lens and ran them through LightRoom 3.
